Ah, March. That time of the year that people in Utah start thinking it’s about time for the snow to melt. And then, mid-April, you remember that the snow’s never really done until about June. Fortunately, things are a little different where I’m at now.
But no matter where you’re at, if you’re buried in several feet of snow or enjoying picnics in the park already, go ahead and get yourself some chocolate Cadbury eggs. The happiest of all eggs, I’d say (as you may be able to tell from totally empty bag pictured. The second bag I’ve eaten my way through in just as many weeks). And then, as you sit there eating your sugar-coated nuggets of chocolate, you can think of all the beautiful things spring brings with it. And then you can continue to stuff your face with chocolate as you admit to yourself thatĀ that is really theĀ most beautiful thing about spring.
Enjoy!

Caitlin, I have to tell you that we went to Montreal in December and they had Christmas colored Cadbury eggs, so naturally I thought of you! It was great to tide us over until spring!
I’m so flattered that you remembered! Ha! Clearly I talk about food way too much if I invade your thoughts at the sight of specific candies.
…I don’t like them… (hides)
We shall now shun thee.
My favorites are the Cadbury eggs that are larger and filled filled caramel. I am conflicted at this time of year because they usually place boxes of them at most grocery checkout stands, and I love them so much I have no self-control. So it is a love-hate thing in the weeks leading up to Easter. I love the Cadburys but I hate myself for loving them!
Caramel is good, but something about the straight-up chocolate ones get me every time!
I saw some of these eggs at the store last week . . . and I didn’t buy any. Been kicking myself ever since.
You can repent and buy yourself some now, my child.
